The East End Health Plan Is a Consortium of School districts from the East End of Long Island created in 1990 to provide Health Insurance Benefits for their employees.
The East End Health Plan provides comprehensive health insurance benefits in a cost-effective manner for the employees of participating school districts located on the East End of Long Island. The Plan currently has 2000 participants and provides medical benefits, a prescription drug plan, and vision plan. Districts that participate are also entitled to join the EEHP Flexible Benefit Plan. It is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of representatives from both employers (Boards of Education) and collective bargaining groups.
