The East End Health Plan provides comprehensive health insurance benefits in a cost effective manner for the employees of participating school districts located on the East End of Long Island. The Plan currently has 1800 participants and provides medical benefits, a prescription drug plan, and vision plan. Districts that participate are also entitled to join the EEHP Flexible Benefit Plan. It is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of representatives from both employers (Boards of Education) and collective bargaining groups. The East End Health Plan Is a Consortium of School districts from the East End of Long Island created in 1990 to provide Health Insurance Benefits for their employees.
